Introducing Indiana Shields – Reception.

Indi has been active in sports from a very young age and is currently playing for the Whangaparaoa College Netball Team 1 – they took the Northern Secondary Schools Championship in 2023 which was only the 2nd time the college had made it to the semi-finals in 10 years.

Indi also competed in her first powerlifting Nationals in September 2023, qualifying with 4 national records for squat, bench, deadlift, and total in the teen women’s competition.  She was able to improve again and set 2 more records before the close of the competition.

Her schedule is 3 to 4 days of netball training including a game, plus 4 to 5 days of training in the gym for powerlifting.

You will find Indi at reception most evenings supporting the members and trainers during the peak staffed hours in the gym.
